How to buy more RAM, disk or CPU for your server
Add memory, disk or CPU to your Schokr team with credits: 450 per GB of RAM, 450 per 10 GB of disk, 300 per 50% CPU. Then assign it to a server.

To give a server more RAM, disk or CPU on Schokr, you buy the upgrade from the store with credits. It goes into your team's resource pool, and then you assign it to the server that needs it.
Prices
| Upgrade | Credits | Approx. dollars |
|---|---|---|
| 1 GB memory (RAM) | 450 | $0.60 |
| 10 GB disk | 450 | $0.60 |
| 50% CPU (half a core) | 300 | $0.40 |
These are one-time purchases. You do not pay again next month.
Check if you actually need more
Your team already has a free pool of 6 GB memory, 150% CPU and 10 GB disk. Before buying, check whether that pool is spread across servers you no longer use. Shrinking or deleting an unused server frees its resources for the one that needs them.
Signs you need more:
- Memory: a Minecraft server lags with lots of players or plugins, or a bot gets killed for running out of memory.
- Disk: the file manager shows you are near your limit, or uploads and world saves fail.
- CPU: the Resources page shows CPU pinned at its limit while players notice lag.
Steps
- Make sure your team has enough credits. Earn them for free with daily rewards and AFK earnings, or buy them.
- Sign in to the Schokr console and open the store.
- Buy the memory, disk or CPU upgrade. You can buy the same item more than once.
- The upgrade is added to your team's pool straight away.
- Go to your server and raise its memory, disk or CPU allocation using the new resources in the pool.
- Restart the server so it picks up the new limits.
Example
You run a Paper server with 4 GB and want 6 GB, but your other server already uses the remaining 2 GB of the free pool. Buy 2 x 1 GB memory for 900 credits, then raise the Paper server to 6 GB and restart.
For Minecraft, remember the Java heap size usually follows the server's memory limit. If your startup settings hard-code a heap size, update it too.
Things to know
- Upgrades belong to the team, not to one server. You can move them between servers later.
- You cannot transfer an upgrade to another team. Transfer credits instead and buy there. See transferring credits.
- Schokr One does not add memory, disk or CPU. See upgrading vs Schokr One.
