How to transfer credits between teams

Credits on Schokr belong to a team, not to an individual user, and you can transfer them from one team to another. This is useful if you bought or earned credits in one team but want to spend them in the other.

How team balances work#

• Each team has its own credit balance.
• Each user can be in up to 2 teams, so you may see two different balances.
• Store purchases are paid from the balance of the team you buy for, and the upgrade goes into that team's resource pool.

Before you transfer#

• You need permission to manage billing in the team you are sending from. Team owners have it by default; other members need a role with billing access. See billing permissions in team roles.
• Your Discord account must be linked, since transfers are part of the economy. See why Discord must be linked.
• Double-check the destination team. Once credits are in another team, getting them back depends on someone with access to that team sending them back.

Steps#

1. Sign in to the Schokr console.
2. Switch to the team that currently holds the credits.
3. Open the billing or credits area for that team.
4. Choose to transfer credits, select the destination team and enter the amount.
5. Confirm. Check the destination team's balance to make sure the credits arrived.

Common reasons to transfer#

• You bought credits while the wrong team was selected.
• You earn daily rewards and AFK credits in one team but run your main servers in another.
• A friend's team wants to pool resources with yours for a shared project.

Transfer credits or upgrades?#

You transfer credits, not upgrades. Store upgrades such as memory, disk, CPU and server slots are added permanently to the team that bought them. If you want an upgrade in a different team, move the credits first and buy the upgrade from that team. See how store upgrades work.
