How to buy more snapshot slots for a server

Every Schokr server comes with 3 snapshot slots. If you want to keep more snapshots, buy extra slots for 40 credits each, up to 30 slots per server. Schokr One members get unlimited snapshots.

What a snapshot slot is#

A snapshot captures the state of your server so you can roll back to it later, for example before installing a big update or a new set of plugins. Each slot holds one snapshot. When all your slots are full, you need to delete an old snapshot or add a slot before taking a new one.

Price and limits#

Filling a server up to the 30-slot maximum means buying 27 extra slots, which is 1,080 credits (about $1.44).

Steps#

1. Make sure your team has enough credits and your Discord account is linked.
2. Sign in to the Schokr console and open the server.
3. Go to the Snapshots section.
4. Add a snapshot slot and confirm the purchase. Repeat for each slot you want.

How many slots do I need?#

• 3 slots is enough for "before update", "after update" and one spare.
• 7 slots works well with automatic daily snapshots if you want about a week of daily restore points.
• More is useful for busy community servers where you might need to roll back further after griefing or a bad plugin.

Snapshots and backups#

Schokr servers also have backups, which are limited in number per server. Snapshots are a separate feature with their own slots. Buying snapshot slots does not change your backup limit.

Things to know#

• Slots are per server. Extra slots on one server do not apply to your other servers.
• Slots are a one-time purchase.
