How much do automatic daily snapshots cost?

Automatic daily snapshots cost 5 credits per day. Once enabled, Schokr takes a snapshot of your server every day and charges your team's credit balance for it.

Cost over time#

That is less than what one daily reward pays out, so a single daily reward claim covers more than two weeks of automatic snapshots.

How to turn them on#

1. Make sure your team has credits and your Discord account is linked.
2. Sign in to the Schokr console and open your server.
3. Go to the Snapshots section and enable automatic daily snapshots.

Snapshot slots still apply#

Automatic snapshots are still snapshots, so keep your slot limit in mind. Servers have 3 slots by default, and you can buy more for 40 credits each, up to 30 per server. With Schokr One snapshots are unlimited.

If you want to keep roughly a week of daily restore points, plan on about 7 slots.

What if credits run out?#

If your team's balance cannot cover the daily charge, automatic snapshots pause. Your server keeps running normally, and the snapshots you already have are not affected. Once you add credits again, through daily rewards, AFK earnings or a purchase, automatic snapshots can continue.

Check your snapshots now and then to make sure they are still being taken, especially if your balance is low. See what happens when credits run out.

Is it worth it?#

For any server where losing a day of progress would hurt, such as a Minecraft survival world or a bot with a local SQLite database, 150 credits a month is a cheap safety net. For a test server you rebuild often, you can skip it and take manual snapshots before risky changes.

Still stuck?#

If daily snapshots are enabled and your balance is fine but no new snapshots appear, ask on the Schokr Discord.
