Paid for credits but they haven't arrived

Credits from a Stripe purchase can take up to 5 minutes to show up. Here is what to check if your payment is pending or credits are missing.

Updated · 2 min read

Credits bought through Stripe can take up to 5 minutes to reach your team balance. If it has been longer than that, work through the checks below before contacting support.

1. Wait the full 5 minutes

After checkout, Stripe confirms the payment and then Schokr adds the credits. Usually this is instant, but give it up to 5 minutes. Refresh the console after that.

2. Check you are looking at the right team

Credits go to a team, not to your personal account. If you are in two teams, switch to the other team in the console and check its balance. If you bought for the wrong team, you can transfer the credits.

3. Check the payment actually completed

  • Did you reach the end of Stripe checkout, or close the tab early?
  • Did you get a payment confirmation from Stripe?
  • Does your bank or card app show a completed charge, or only a pending one?

Some payment methods and banks take longer to confirm a payment. If the charge is still pending on your side, the credits will not arrive until it completes. If the payment was declined, no credits are added and you can try again.

The economy needs a linked Discord account. If your Discord account became unlinked, link it again and refresh. See why Discord must be linked.

5. Check the status page

If many people are having problems, there may be an incident. Look at status.schokr.gg.

Still missing? Contact support

If more than 5 minutes have passed, the payment is complete, and the credits are not in either team, ask on the Schokr Discord. To help staff find it quickly, include:

  • The email address on your Schokr account
  • The team name you bought for
  • The amount and approximate time of the purchase
  • The receipt or confirmation from Stripe, with card details hidden

Do not pay a second time to "retry" a purchase that is pending. Wait for staff to look into the first one.
