What are Schokr credits and what are they used for?
Credits are Schokr's in-console currency. Learn how you get them, what they buy, and why they belong to your team rather than to you.

Credits are the currency you use inside the Schokr console to buy permanent upgrades from the store, such as extra memory, disk, CPU, server slots, port allocations and snapshot slots. You never need credits to run a server: the free package works without them.
How you get credits
There are two ways to get credits: earn them for free, or buy them.

What credits buy
Everything in the store is a one-time, permanent upgrade that is added to your team's resource pool:

Credits belong to your team
Credits are held by a team, not by an individual account. Everyone in the team with the right permissions can use the team's balance, and the upgrades you buy go into the team's shared pool. If you are in two teams, each team has its own balance, and you can transfer credits between teams.
Do I have to spend credits?
No. Schokr's free package gives every team 6 GB memory, 150% CPU, 10 GB disk and up to 4 server slots, with no trial period and no expiry. Credits are only for going beyond that. If your balance hits zero, your servers keep running.
