Are Schokr store upgrades permanent? How the team pool works
Store upgrades on Schokr are one-time purchases that permanently add to your team's shared resource pool. Here's how the pool and upgrades fit together.

Yes. Memory, disk, CPU and server slot upgrades from the Schokr store are one-time purchases. You pay for them once with credits and they stay in your team's resource pool. There is no monthly renewal.
The team pool
Schokr gives each team one pool of resources instead of a fixed size per server. On the free package that pool is:
| Resource | Free package |
|---|---|
| Memory | 6 GB (6144 MiB) |
| CPU | 150% (1.5 cores) |
| Disk | 10 GB (10240 MiB) |
| Server slots | 4 |
You split the pool across your servers however you like. One server could use all 6 GB, or you could run three servers with 2 GB each.
What an upgrade does
When you buy an upgrade, its amount is added to the pool:
| Purchase | Credits | Effect on pool |
|---|---|---|
| 1 GB memory | 450 | +1 GB memory |
| 10 GB disk | 450 | +10 GB disk |
| 50% CPU | 300 | +50% CPU |
| 1 server slot | 250 | +1 server |
For example, a team that buys 2 GB memory and 50% CPU ends up with 8 GB memory, 200% CPU (2 cores), 10 GB disk and 4 slots.
The upgrade is not tied to a server. After buying, you assign the extra resources to whichever server needs them, and you can rebalance later.
Things that are not permanent pool upgrades
- Port allocations and snapshot slots are bought for a server, not added to the pool. See port allocations and snapshot slots.
- Automatic daily snapshots cost 5 credits per day for as long as they are enabled. See daily snapshots.
- Schokr One is a monthly membership, not a store upgrade. See Schokr One.
Upgrades stay with the team
Upgrades belong to the team that bought them. They do not move with you if you leave the team, and they cannot be transferred to another team. If ownership of the team is transferred, the upgrades stay with the team. To upgrade a different team, transfer credits to it and buy there.
What if my credits run out?
Nothing you have already bought is taken away. Your servers keep running with the same resources. See what happens when credits run out.
